Community Picnic to Welcome International Students

All DSU students and residents of the Madison area were invited to a picnic to welcome DSU's international students last week! Hot dogs and hamburgers were provided, as well as many different main dishes, sides, and desserts! The event was hosted by the International Programs Office of DSU and the Madison Public Library with help from the friends. Here are some pictures from the event! Thanks to all who made it! Disney Adventurers!

Did you just dab?! Yup! So what brings you into the library tonight? We're going through the Disney movies in order. Tonight we're getting Peter Pan and Lady and the Tramp!

Tammy and Julia

Why do you like coming to the library? It's a place to spread out and it's quiet and cool. It's a good palce to family research and access it online. We also like the people who work here! :) It's been a running tradition. How long have you been coming? Oh, for several years. There used to be more of us but a lot of them moved and now it's just us. It's quite interesting, doing family research and looking at our ancestry. Sometimes you find nothing, other nights you hit the jackpot! #HumansofMPL #MadisonPublicLibrary #Ancestry #PeopleofMPL #Library #Research

I’m not huge on biography-type books or reading nonfiction but this couple is so charming and so
